2015 NFL Wild Card Special Teams Previews

Most of the focus leading up to the  NFL Wild Card Weekend games typically lands on the offense and defense, but special teams plays can often makes the difference in the NFL Playoffs – the New England Patriots with last-second field goals, the New Orleans Saints recovering a surprise onside kick, the Green Bay Packers returning a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown. All of these plays proved critical in determining the outcome of their respective games. Inside The Pylon has special teams previews for all four of the games scheduled this weekend.

Arizona Cardinals at Carolina Panthers – A matchup of two squads with as many questions on special teams as on offense and defense.

Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers – Two battle-tested teams featuring an outstanding duel between the Ravens punt unit and the Steelers return team.

Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys – A strong Lions punt unit takes on a consistent and balanced Cowboys return squad.
