There are all kinds of ways to play fantasy football, but in DFS, Sharona E is trying to wade through the strategies as she learns the ways of this game.
Dear Diary: I pull up the results from Week 2 and, well, things didn’t go according to plan. But I’m not giving up! Nope, no quitters here.
RB: Hello lover! Yes, I pick David Johnson again. I like DeMarco Murray too this week against the Raiders, who have given up 69 points and 1,035 yards in only two games, and his value is good. Onto wide receivers!
WRs 1 & 2: Who is giving up the most fantasy points to wide receivers? Oh, it’s those same Raiders. Diary, you know I love Tajae Sharpe, but the Titans offense is still a work in progress and Andre Johnson scored the lone WR TD of the year.
The Kansas City Chiefs play the New York Jets who are giving up the second-most fantasy points to wide receivers. so I select Chiefs wideout Jeremy Maclin. I like the Green Bay Packers offense against an injury-depleted Detroit Lions, so Jordy Nelson is my wide receiver 2.
QB: Angry Aaron Rodgers party of one? Yes please.
PK: Who plays the Bears? Oh, it’s Dallas. I like Dan Bailey but I look and his price is too rich for me and what I want to spend. I have a plan here! I opt instead for New York Jets kicker Nick Folk who is averaging just a tad bit less per game.
WR3: I have $4,500.00 left which isn’t exactly ideal for my final selection and my third wideout. Let’s see what we have in that price range:
Salas is the best of the bunch so let’s see what Rotoworld has to say about him. Oh, OUCH.
Still, Salas is the best of the bunch and Arizona is giving up the 7th most fantasy points to wide receivers. Done deal.
I click enter and success!
