But that lifestyle has paid off, as he emerged from his film cave near the end of the summer with a list of 40 quarterbacks to watch during the 2017 college football season. Part 1:
The list kicked off with 10 rising seniors, including big names such as Baker Mayfield and Luke Falk, and some under-the-radar guys like Mike White, Matt Linehan, Nick Stevens, Austin Allen, Bryan Schor, and DeVante Kincade.
Part 2:
The second installment stayed in the senior class. Here we get to know Logan Woodside, J.T. Barrett, Richard Lagow, Jeremiah Briscoe, and Quinton Flowers, among others.
Part 3:
Here the list drops down a class, looking at some of the underclassmen that might make the leap to the professional game at the end of the season. The juniors covered include reigning Heisman winner Lamar Jackson, Drew Lock, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, Clayton Thorsen, Ryan Finley, and Brett Rypien.
Part 4:
The watch list concludes in the fourth installment. Here Mark discusses Sam Darnold, Deondre Francois, Kenny Hill, Kyle Lauretta, Justice Hansen, Nick Fitzgerald, and Taryn Christion.
