Inside the Pylon has been giving you in-depth coverage of future NFL quarterbacks as well as draft profiles of offensive tackles, defensive backs, and skill positions. Today, our staff is ready to announce some exciting news.
Many NFL fans wonder what it’s like to be inside the war room on draft day, making decisions that will guide the direction of a franchise for years to come. Unfortunately, access is generally limited to soundless reaction shots before and after a team’s pick during televised coverage. So we came up with a solution.
Inside the Pylon recruited NFL Draft experts of the 32 teams, had them assemble their staffs, and then recorded them trying to come to a consensus on who to take with each pick. The result is the Inside the Pylon Mock War Room Draft, a month-long podcast event that takes you through a hypothetical first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Each 20-minute episode features a general manager and their team taking a maximum of 15 minutes to make their selection, as well as ITP writers Mark Schofield and Shane Alexander breaking down the pick and scheme fit with their new team.
So subscribe to the ITP Podcast today, and get ready for six weeks of picks as the Inside the Pylon Mock War Room Draft gets rolling.
